I’m in the last stages of finishing Supraterrestrial. It’s that point in the writing process where I am just hanging on. If you’ve written a book before, and I know many of you have, you know what this is like. I’ve already seen some early cover designs, and I’ll share them here soon so you can be part of the decision.
Since the New York Times interview, I’ve sat down with former Air Force pilot Chris Letho for a long conversation that unexpectedly became a reunion with Garry Nolan. It was cool! Together, we revisited our trip to New Mexico with Tyler D. and unpacked what we discovered there. We also discussed things that we never shared with each other about the trip. It was enlightening!
For those interested in the behind the scenes, as I speak with university faculty and students, visit church parishes, and sit down for podcast conversations, you can accompany me while I document what’s unfolding and trace the stories that don’t always make it into the headlines. In the next few days I hope to get a few options for the cover to the new book, and I will share it here. Thank you for being a part of this journey!
All wonderful, Diana! Hope at some point you can share more about your latest conversation with Garry Nolan and the NM trip : )
Question, Diana: The Very Large Array (NRAO) in Magdalena was gov't funded and started installation in 1972, and it happens to be located on the same New Mexican Plains as a known crash site (Lonnie Zamora incident, 1964). Was the VLA location-placement connected to the 1964 incident? The timing and placement of the VLA, in context, is interesting.
